4. Delivery and Store Pickup
Delivery Locations: We deliver within Greater Male’ Area. For islands, deliveries can be made to the harbor or jetty for collection.
Boat Delivery Policy: While we deliver to the harbor or boat, our team does not load items onto boats. Customers or their representatives must handle loading onto transport vessels.
Delivery Times: Standard delivery hours are between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Delivery timelines vary depending on product availability, order volume, and location.
Pickup Options: You may opt to pick up your order from our retail outlets, or warehouses. Please bring your valid ID and order number when you collect.
5. Returns, Cancellations, and Exchanges
Customers may request returns or exchanges in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Certain items may be non-returnable for hygiene or safety reasons.
Cancellation requests must be made prior to dispatch or in-store collection.
Restocking Fee for Bulky Returns
For bulky items such as furniture, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to cover handling and logistical costs. This should be clearly communicated during the return authorization process.
6. Credit Purchases and Customer Accounts
Certain purchases may be made on credit for approved customers.
Credit limits, repayment terms, and responsibilities are governed by a separate agreement. Late payments may result in penalties, suspension of service, or legal action.

RETURN, REPLACE AND REFUND POLICY
At DAMAS COMPANY, we aim to make your shopping experience smooth and satisfying. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied or have received an incorrect or damaged item, you may request a return, replacement, or exchange.
Please note that exchanges are only applicable for items of equal value or can be used as part payment toward an item of higher value. In such cases, the price difference will be invoiced accordingly. Kindly note that exchanges for items of lower value are not permitted, and no partial refunds will be issued.
Returns & Refunds
You may return any item that is unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging, including all accessories, documentation, and labels. Once received and inspected, we will either replace the item or issue a refund, as appropriate.
Returns will not be accepted if the item shows signs of use or is not in the condition in which it was delivered.
Defective or Faulty Items
If your item is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault or workmanship issue, you may choose to have it returned, repaired, replaced, or refunded. If a repair or replacement is not possible, you may request a full refund, or a price adjustment should you decide to keep the item.
Cancellations and refunds
If you wish to cancel your order after it has been submitted, please contact us immediately and provide your order number. Pre-orders can only be canceled within the first 48 hours of confirmation. Once the items are confirmed or services have been provided, cancellations are no longer possible.
If you pay by credit or with debit card, any fees charged by the payment provider for using this method may be deducted from your refund. Refunds for card payments will be credited back to your account.

How to Initiate a Return
Malé & Greater Male’ Deliveries
Customers must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the item to initiate a return or exchange. Products must be unused in their original packaging and include all accessories and documentation.
Island Deliveries
Customers must notify us within 36 hours of receipt, and the return must be completed within 3–5 days. They should also update us on the planned delivery schedule. Products must be unused in their original packaging and include all accessories and documentation.
Refund Processing Timeline
Refunds will be processed within 3 to 7 working days from the date of receiving and inspecting the returned product.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items such as mattresses, pillows, and personal care products are non-returnable once opened or used. We kindly ask for your understanding in these cases
DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLING POLICY
This policy sets out details of the delivery service we provide for your online purchases.

Where we deliver
We provide delivery service to Greater Male’ Area and up to Jetty/boat. Note that we do not engage in loading goods onto boats. In cases where the goods are requested to be delivered to a vessel, details should be filled in ‘Delivery address’ fields provided at check out. All orders over MVR 300 qualify for free delivery, while orders under MVR 300.00 are subject to MVR 50.00 delivery fee. Customer can choose to pick up the items at our outlets or warehouses as well
How and when we deliver
- Deliveries are carried out within 24 hours of purchase.
- All deliveries are carried out between 10.00am to 17.00pm Saturday to Thursday.
- For orders received on a Thursday or public holiday, delivery will be processed on the following business day.
- Delivery timings are subject to change depending on the items and the working hours. In such cases, the recipient will be notified.
- We will not be responsible for any late delivery or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Acceptance of delivery
Before goods are dispatched, the delivery person shall contact the specified recipient via a phone call to re-confirm the address and availability of the recipient at the delivery address.
We shall not be responsible for the damage or loss of any product once delivery has been confirmed either by the original recipient or by a third-party recipient (nominee by the original recipient).
Assembly
Please note that assembly is not completed on the same day as delivery. We will allocate a specific day for assembly based on your location. Once delivery is completed, we will inform the customer of the scheduled assembly date.
PRE ORDER POLICY
We offer unbelievable pre-order prices for some popular items for sale before they are available in-stock or before release on the market. We are committed to finding the item from the best sources. Customers must place orders for these items in the same way as anything else on our website. The estimated dispatch date will be shown in the product details. Once your order arrives with us, it will be delivered to the address you have provided.
Estimated Dispatch Date/Time
Please be aware that the products published for pre-order sale will not be available in our outlets for sale. Please refer to product description for estimated dispatched date/time. Sometimes unexpected delays may occur as it depends on international shipping or customs clearance. However, we always try our best to provide estimates more accurately and deliver goods as soon as we receive the stock.
FORCE MAJEURE
DAMAS COMPANY shall not be held responsible for any delay or inability to fulfill our obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control. Such events may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, pandemics, supply chain interruptions, government actions, or power failures. In these circumstances, our obligations will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the event
CYBER CRIME
We implement appropriate security measures to safeguard our website and user data. However, we cannot guarantee complete protection against cyber threats, including but not limited to hacking, phishing, malware attacks, or unauthorized access to data. By using this website, you acknowledge and accept that we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from such cyber incidents beyond our control.
